Classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from the famous Lawson’s Dry Hills Winery. Aromas of citrus and limes with elderflower and grapefruit notes. The palate is concentrated with lemon zest, stone fruit and floral flavours. Crisp, clean and dry....a steal!
Award winning wine from master winemaker Thierry Delauney. Classic ‘Old World’ Sancerre meets ‘New World’ Kiwi. Fruit driven style, gorgeous. Complex aromas of exotic fruits, peach and grapefruit. A must try wine from the Touraine region of the Loire Valley.
From the Hunter family winery founded by Belfast man Ernie Hunter. Fabulous ripe bouquet showing peach, passion fruit and green peppers. Succulent and powerfully flavoured on the palate with bright acidity and a long finish. Belfast restaurant wine list favourite.
Heart of Stone is sourced from grapes grown in several distinctly different sites within Marlborough in an area where the vines struggle for survival in ancient riverbed stones and gravel. The resultant crop amounts to only a handful of intensely flavoured grapes per vine.
Vibrant with flavours of blackberry, gooseberry and passion-fruit underscored by appetising, crisp acidity which produces a refreshing finish. It will partner white fish and salads to perfection. Delicious!
An aromatic and elegant Albariño, with notes of white flowers, white peach, pear, apricot and citrus notes, balanced by a mouth-watering acidity and hint of salinity thanks to the vines’ proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.
Following on from the fantastic celebrity chef backed Porta 6 Red ! This is a classic Portuguese white wine, the cool Atlantic breeze brings the fresh fruity flavours and the refreshing green spritz! It’s SUMMER!
Englishman Gavin Quinney makes this Sauvignon Blanc at his estate 15 miles from Bordeaux and it's lovely - no wonder it's been the house white at Rick Stein's for years. Bright but gentle, crisp and modern but not pithy, just fresh with a lemon, elderflower and yellow nectarine taste. Our No. 1 selling white Bordeaux – delicious
Brilliant pale lemon colour. Intense aromas of peaches, white flowers and a hint of fresh sea breeze. On the palate, well balanced acidity with stone fruits and light minerality. Lingering finish, with a mouth watering acidity and long complex persistence.
‘Our Sancerre is pale golden in colour with upfront citrus and tropical fruits combined with minerality. The palate is full, fresh and delicate with passion-fruit and zesty lemon, somewhat chalky with lively acidity, finishing long with hints of stony minerality.’ ‘It could be sipped as an aperitif and is perfectly suited for seafood and fish dishes. Mixed salads are also a perfect match, particularly if the salad includes citrus fruits or goat cheese or chicken.’
A great wine from Romania, fresh easy drinking style. Enticing aroma of pears with hints of citrus fruit and a touch of honey. There is more of the same ripe fruit on the palate with a delicious, refreshingly clean finish.
‘The Orginal Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc’
The wine formerly known as ‘Montana’; from one of the Marlborough regions original producers. Ripe fruit character with a lovely mix of citrus, floral, pear and tropical fruit and a crisp nettle highlight.
